Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out how you may and may not use N4Z Landlord. It forms part of our Terms of Use. Using the Service responsibly keeps it safe for everyone — landlords and tenants alike.

1. Use the Service lawfully and fairly

You agree to use N4Z Landlord only for lawful purposes and in line with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2. You must not

  • break any law, or use the Service to facilitate unlawful activity (including unlawful eviction, harassment or discrimination against tenants);
  • upload or send content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, deceptive or infringes others' rights;
  • enter personal data you have no lawful basis or right to process;
  • impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or your authority to act;
  • attempt to access accounts, data or areas of the Service you are not authorised to access;
  • probe, scan or test the security of the Service, or bypass its access controls, without our written permission;
  • introduce malware, or otherwise interfere with, disrupt or overload the Service or its infrastructure;
  • scrape, harvest, or use automated means to extract data beyond ordinary use of the features provided;
  • resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted;
  • use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

3. Communications & the tenant portal

Messaging and portal features are for legitimate landlord–tenant communication relating to a tenancy. Do not use them to harass, threaten or send irrelevant or unlawful content.

4. Reporting misuse

If you become aware of any misuse of the Service, or a security issue, please tell us at [email protected] (or [email protected] for data concerns) so we can act.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and take action we consider appropriate — including removing content, and suspending or terminating accounts — and may report unlawful activity to the authorities. We will act proportionately and, where reasonable, give you the chance to put things right.
