Cookie Policy

Last updated 9 June 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies N4Z Landlord uses. In short: we use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and run the Service. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a site remember things between requests — for example that you're signed in. Some cookies are essential for a site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising. We only use the essential kind.

2. Cookies we use

All of the cookies below are strictly necessary — the Service cannot keep you securely signed in without them. They are first-party (set by us), use SameSite=Lax, and last up to 30 days.

CookiePurpose
n4z_sessionKeeps you signed in to your landlord account (session token).
n4z_oeIdentifies your account so we load the right portfolio.
n4z_nameRemembers your display name for the interface.
n4z_roleRemembers your role so the right features are shown.
n4z_adminIndicates a super-admin session (admin panel only).
n4z_tenantKeeps tenants signed in to the tenant portal.
n4z_tenant_nameRemembers a tenant's display name in the portal.
n4z_cookie_consentRemembers that you've acknowledged this cookie notice so we don't show it again.

3. What we don't use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party marketing pixels. Any usage analytics we rely on are calculated from your own portfolio data within the Service, not from third-party tracking. If we introduce optional analytics in future (for example in our mobile apps), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

4. Mobile apps

Our mobile apps use secure on-device storage to keep you signed in (and optional biometric unlock) rather than browser cookies. This serves the same essential purpose.

5. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because the cookies we use are essential, blocking them will stop you being able to sign in or use the Service. For more about cookies generally, see the ICO's guidance.

6. Changes & contact

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Questions? Email [email protected]. See also our Privacy Policy.
